Any questions? Et voilà!: Tax chatbot now speaks English and French

Since November 2018, citizens have been able to use the tax chatbot of the Baden-Württemberg tax administration for questions relating to tax returns. The virtual assistant answers questions from all areas of tax law around the clock.

From now on, citizens can also communicate with him in English or French

The innovative strength of Baden-Württemberg's companies in particular attracts workers from all over the world. English serves as an important bridge language here. Due to the proximity to France, however, concerns also regularly arise in French.

The answers are always up-to-date, competent and come directly from the Baden-Württemberg tax administration.

The tax chatbot is unique in Germany. After initially answering mainly simple and frequently asked questions, it can now reliably provide information on a wide variety of questions from all areas of tax law. In doing so, the tax chatbot is constantly monitored by the employees of the Baden-Württemberg tax administration in order to continuously improve its tax knowledge and to ensure the accuracy of the answers.
