With an annual tax revenue of around 290 billion euros, VAT is of considerable importance for the state budget. As a member of the internal VAT office, you make an important contribution to securing state revenue, which is needed to provide services of general interest and benefits all citizens.
THESE ARE YOUR NEW TASKS
- In future, you will mainly process advance VAT returns. This includes, for example
- Review of submitted advance VAT returns
- Consent to the reimbursement of sales tax
- Completion of processing instructions
- Processing applications for extensions of time limits, deferral of settlement or suspension of enforcement
- Determination of late payment penalties
- Support for the special VAT audit
- Communication with taxpayers
WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU
- Completed vocational training and professional experience as a
- Legal assistant (f/m/d),
- Tax clerk (f/m/d),
- Bank clerk,
- Management assistant for office management
- or a comparable profession
- Experience in the application of laws
- Knowledge of the commercial sector, business administration or accounting
- Knowledge of administrative work or office organization is an advantage
- Willingness to undergo further training with flexibility in terms of time and location
- Resilience and ability to deal with conflict
- quick comprehension and ability to work in a team

The position is initially limited to one year; after successful completion of the theoretical and practical training and final probation, the employee will be taken on as a permanent employee.
