Contents of the website
I would like to welcome you to our little content tour on the website of a tax office.
First of all, I would like to inform you that the websites of the tax offices are identically structured and the central contents are also identical. Information about the respective tax office, such as opening hours, address, telephone numbers and current messages of a tax office are maintained individually.
The first thing that catches your eye are the moving images. Here you see the building of the tax office and you are also visually pointed to important topics and innovations.
In addition to the pictures, you receive information about the opening hours of the respective service center. At some tax offices you can come by on a daily basis without making an appointment - in this case you have to reckon with waiting times. At other tax offices you need an appointment in advance. If an on-site appointment is indispensable, I recommend that you always make an online appointment via the appointment system. This will save you unnecessary waiting time. Some tax offices also offer a call-back service. Here you can arrange a callback with your tax office on your preferred date. This saves you extra time and fits perfectly into your daily routine. You can access the appointment and callback system via the sticky sidebar, which is attached to every page you are currently on.
Does your tax office need a message or a receipt from you? Then write to us online quickly and easily from home. To do this, open the contact form via the sticky sidebar, enter your details and, if necessary, upload the requested receipt as an attachment. You do not need to register to use the contact form. The transmission of your entries is free of charge and secure in accordance with tax secrecy.
If you have general questions, our virtual colleague is available around the clock. The tax chatbot answers your questions about tax law and procedures without any officialese. You can also call up the tax chatbot conveniently via the sticky sidebar. Just ask him!
You can find tax topics explained simply, briefly and pictorially in our YouTube explanatory videos. You can find an overview of all the explanatory videos and instructions in our media library under Service - Explanatory videos/ Instructions. In the lower area of the website you will also find the latest explanatory videos. Let's go!
Under Service - Forms you will find the special forms and pre-printed forms for Baden-Württemberg which you can download as pdf files. Please download the standard federal forms/forms, e.g. for the income tax return, from the form management system of the Federal Finance Administration. (Figure 8) Did you know that you can also submit many of these forms digitally through ELSTER? If you submit your tax return via ELSTER, you will benefit, among other things, from a plausibility check and the option of transferring data from the previous year. With electronic document retrieval, you can transfer data available at the tax office, such as data from insurance companies or employers (wages, pensions, health insurance contributions) directly into your return. You are not yet registered at ELSTER? Then go straight to www.elster.de to create your account.
You can find individual information about your tax office under the menu item Your tax office. Here you can find out about the responsibilities of the tax office, the bank details or other contact options - such as postal address, directions, telephone availability, contact persons for specific topics. You will also find the latest news and press releases.
Finally, I would like to draw your attention to the career section in the menu bar. Here you will find our current job and training offers.
