From 08.07.2025, the tax offices at Baden-Württemberg will offer a new option for submitting tax returns electronically.
With einfachELSTERplus, the tax administration offers an online service for preparing income tax returns specifically for single, childless people with income from non-self-employed work. The service can be used for the first time from the beginning of July 2025 for income tax returns from 2024 onwards. Users are guided through the tax return step by step. Clear questions and a selection of possible answers make it particularly easy to complete, just as the name promises.
Electronic certificates, such as the annual income tax certificate, are available to the tax office. The data is automatically taken into account and therefore no longer needs to be entered.
How can you use simplyELSTERplus?
You can register at elster.de using an existing ELSTER certificate or ELSTER-Secure. First-time users register at Extern: www.elster.de. (Öffnet in neuem Fenster) Once registration is complete, simplyELSTERplus can be selected to prepare the tax return. By answering specific questions on various topics, the tax return is prepared in no time at all. Once the information has been checked, citizens can send their tax return digitally to the tax office.
