Mission Statement of the Central Group Audit Office Stuttgart (ZBp)

The task of ZBp is to carry out tax audits of corporate groups and large companies. In doing so, we find ourselves in the area of conflict between business and the tax authorities. Our interlocutors are representatives of the economy, their tax advisors as well as the respective tax offices.

Our tax audit reports are used for tax assessment by the office staff. In the accomplishment of our tasks we want to be guided by the following principles:

Basic attitude and goals

As part of the financial administration of Baden-Württemberg, we are committed to the common good. Customer orientation, performance quality and employee satisfaction are at the heart of everything we do.

Performance quality

We carry out our tasks in accordance with the principles of legality. Our actions are characterized by responsibility, decisiveness and a high level of motivation.
Through auditor meetings, other training courses and participation in specialist meetings at state and federal level, we aim to maintain and expand the know-how required for carrying out group audits. This goal is also served by the division of the ZBP into sectors and the corresponding deployment of the auditors.

Employee satisfaction, cooperation and leadership behaviour

In our dealings with each other, the focus should be on people. Friendly, trusting and cooperative interaction, team spirit and a good working atmosphere concern us all. Conflicts cannot always be avoided, but we strive to find solutions in open and fair cooperation.

Customer orientation

We seek dialogue with our interlocutors. We aim to achieve a high level of acceptance for our activities by making well-founded and comprehensible decisions within the framework of the law. Tax justice, objectivity and fairness are our benchmarks.
We want to provide our services effectively, efficiently and on time.
We maintain a businesslike and friendly tone with our interlocutors.
