Now, with the help of the District Office, suitable premises have been found: From January 9, 2023, citizens' consultation hours will be held twice a week at Ihlinger Straße 79 in the building of the District Office's vehicle registration office. Appointments can be booked in advance, preferably online. Consultation hours are Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to noon (starting January 11, 2023) and Thursdays (starting January 12, 2023) from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
In addition, the tax office can still be contacted via various communication channels (electronically via the contact form or via ELSTER) and can still be reached by phone at 07441/56-0. Due to the move, there may be temporary restrictions in the coming days
The Baden-Württemberg tax administration is constantly working to organize administrative processes more efficiently. Merging the organizational units of the tax office's main office Freudenstadt and the Horb field office will enable improvements and simplification of work processes within and between the individual work areas. In the event of vacancies or in cases of vacation or illness, a more flexible deployment of personnel is possible
The relocation of the "Assessment of Natural Persons" department is expected to be completed by mid-December. Then all employees who previously worked in Horb will have their workplace in Freudenstadt. The mailbox will therefore no longer be available from mid-December.
