To enable us to deal with your request as quickly as possible, please note the following when making inquiries by telephone:
- Please have your tax number ready for all inquiries. You can find this on your tax assessment notice, for example.
- You can find your tax identification number ("IdNr") on your income tax assessment notice or online Extern: here (Öffnet in neuem Fenster).
- For data protection reasons, it is not possible for the tax office to inform you of your IdNr. by e-mail or telephone.
- The change of bank details must be communicated to the tax office in writing/electronically (new SEPA direct debit mandate if necessary). For legal reasons, no changes can be made by telephone.

- Please refrain from inquiries about the processing status of tax returns.
