In the State of Baden-Württemberg, 65 tax offices ensure that taxes are assessed and collected fairly and uniformly. They are supported in this by 30 certified agricultural experts working in four regional teams.

THESE ARE YOUR NEW RESPONSIBILITIES

  • They assess farms for property and estate tax purposes.
  • They are involved in the income taxation of agricultural and forestry businesses.
  • They maintain digital mineral resource maps; this includes, for example, processing and digitizing data collected in the field using a geographic information system.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in agricultural economics or horticulture, or a degree in a related field.
  • You work independently, responsibly, and with a focus on results.
  • You are comfortable using a computer and are ready to learn new software programs.
  • You are mobile and flexible, hold a driver’s license (Class B), and are willing to use your personal vehicle for work purposes.

Compensation is based on the collective bargaining agreement for state government employees (TV-L). The position is classified under Pay Grade 11 of the TV-L.
