The Ministry of Finance in Stuttgart is at the head of the financial administration of the state Baden-Württemberg. With 65 tax offices, Oberfinanzdirektion in Karlsruhe is responsible for the fair and uniform assessment and collection of taxes. In doing so, 42 building surveyors in four regional teams support the tax offices in all property and real estate-related valuation tasks and issues.

Main tasks:
- You will provide advice to the tax law departments and support them with the necessary property and real estate-related valuation issues.
- You will check the plausibility of external appraisals, prepare valuations and construction-related opinions on your own responsibility.
- You will routinely apply the relevant valuation procedures and legal requirements.
- You will be involved in property tax valuation.
Requirements:
- You have completed a degree in construction engineering, real estate or business administration or have a comparable qualification
- Ideally, you are a certified real estate appraiser (e.g. CIS HypZert, DIA, Sprengnetter) or have completed comparable further training
- You work independently, responsibly and in a goal-oriented manner
- You are open-minded with regard to tax law
- You have a driving license (class B) and are mobile beyond the public transport network if required.

Both salaried employees (f/m/d) and civil servants (f/m/d) can apply for this position. The employment relationship is subject to the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L). Recruitment takes place in pay group 11 TV-L. Civil servants (f/m/d) are eligible for promotion to grade A 12.
