The Oberfinanzdirektion Karlsruhe will be renamed Oberfinanzdirektion Baden-Württemberg on January 1, 2025.
With this change, Oberfinanzdirektion (OFD) will in future have a name that reflects its area of responsibility throughout the federal state of Baden-Württemberg in a recognizable and transparent manner. The renaming will not result in a change in tasks, headquarters or responsibilities
We would like to point out to citizens that the name change of OFD will be implemented as resource-efficiently as possible. In particular, the
adaptation of printed copies such as forms will take place gradually. The remaining stocks, e.g. of letterheads from Oberfinanzdirektion Karlsruhe, will initially be used and used up beyond January 1, 2025.
