We are looking for a full-time (currently 39.5 hours per week) or part-time employee (m/f/d ) of the official agricultural surveyor (ALS ) for the South Baden regional team with a possible office location in Rottweil, Villingen-Schwenningen, Tuttlingen, Singen, Waldshut-Tiengen, Lörrach, Müllheim and Freiburg at the earliest possible date and at the turn of the year

The South Baden regional team comprises the tax office Emmendingen as a group tax office with responsibility for the tax offices Offenburg, Lahr, Freiburg-Land, Freiburg-Stadt, Müllheim, Lörrach, Waldshut-Tiengen, Villingen-Schwenningen, Rottweil, Tuttlingen, Singen and Konstanz.

The Ministry of Finance in Stuttgart is at the head of the country's financial administration Baden-Württemberg. With 65 tax offices, Oberfinanzdirektion in Karlsruhe is responsible for the fair and uniform assessment and collection of taxes. The tax offices are supported by 32 surveying staff in four regional teams.

Main tasks:

  • You will record and delineate agricultural and forestry land use types on maps using a geo-information system and modern field computers with GNSS receivers in the field for tax purposes.
  • You will be involved in land estimation in the field; this also includes the preparation and digitization of the data collected in the field using the geo-information system.
  • You maintain the land valuation maps and books (partly still in analog form).
  • You will keep the purchase price statistics for agricultural land.

Requirements

  • You have completed training as a surveying technician, geomatics technician, draughtsman or a comparable qualification, for example in the field of agriculture or
  • You come from another field of work, are looking for a new professional challenge and are willing to familiarize yourself with complex GIS programs.
  • You work independently, responsibly and in a goal-oriented manner.
  • You have a driving license (class B) and are also mobile beyond the public transport network if required

Both salaried employees (f/m/d) and civil servants in the intermediate surveying service (f/m/d) can apply for this position. The collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L) applies to employees covered by collective agreements. Depending on qualifications, the position offers recruitment and/or development opportunities from pay group 6 TV-L to pay group 9a TV-L. Civil servants (f/m/d) are eligible for promotion up to grade A 10 (mD). In the case of full-time employment, the weekly working time is 39.5 hours in the tariff area and 41 hours for civil servants. In the case of part-time employment, the weekly working hours are based on the chosen proportion.

If the personal and career requirements are met, civil servants may be offered the prospect of being made civil servants.
