The tax office Freiburg-Stadt is looking to recruit an employee (f/m/d) with a regular weekly working time of currently 39.5 hours to strengthen the local enforcement office as soon as possible.

The area of responsibility of the enforcement office is varied and diverse. The enforcement offices ensure that taxes due are paid. As a member of the enforcement team, you make an important contribution to tax justice. You help to secure government revenue, which is needed to provide services of general interest and benefits all citizens.

The job profile essentially includes enforcement in accordance with the German Fiscal Code and consists of the following tasks, among others:

  • Determination of assets and preparation of enforcement
  • Seizure of receivables
  • Compulsory measures against immovable assets
  • Measures to prevent arrears, such as business prohibitions
  • Examination of applications for a stay of execution
  • Measures in accordance with the Insolvency Code
  • Cooperation with other departments of the tax office in individual cases
  • Communication with taxpayers, authorities and courts

You bring with you:

  • Completed vocational training and professional experience as a paralegal, tax clerk, bank clerk or a comparable profession
  • Experience in dealing with and applying laws and/or knowledge of administrative procedures
  • Willingness to undergo further training with flexibility in terms of time and location
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with conflict
  • quick comprehension and good teamwork skills
  • confident use of a PC

The position is initially limited to one year; after successfully completing the theoretical and practical training and proving yourself in the relevant field of work, you will be taken on as a permanent employee.

During the one-year induction period, the position will be classified in pay group 6 TV-L. When the employee is taken on as a permanent employee, they will regularly be assigned tasks that correspond to the characteristics of pay group 8 TV-L.

The job is also suitable for part-time employees. Irrespective of this, the periods of theoretical training at the training center in Freiburg must be completed full-time.
