My tax office has asked me to submit both the invoice and the bank statement with the transfer for the household-related service. Is not the invoice sufficient?

No, the invoice alone is not sufficient. A prerequisite for the deduction of expenses is that the invoice amount is paid in cash. You must therefore present the invoice and the bank statement or a corresponding certificate from your bank in order for the expenses for household-related services to be taken into account.
