For "cross-border commuters" from / to France and from / to Switzerland, the tax administration provides some special forms, e.g. for income tax returns, which can also be completed online or printed out.
These include the following forms

- Application for an exemption certificate for cross-border commuters from France - temporary workers - Form 5011 A
- Application for an exemption certificate for cross-border commuters to France - Form S 2 - 240
- Certificate of residence for cross-border commuters to and from Switzerland - Form Gre-1.
