When is the property tax payable?

Unlike land transfer tax, which is only due once when you buy a property, you have to pay land tax annually.

Property tax is assessed for the calendar year and is payable in four instalments on the following dates:

• 15. February
• 15. May
• 15. August
• 15. November

The full annual amount can also be paid all at once on 1 July. A separate application is necessary for this.
